The current research is aimed at investigating the moral theory of German philosopher Immanuel Kant and contemporary philosopher Thomas Scanlon. The method of this research is descriptive and analytical, which is described, interpreted, juxtaposed and compared with the four-stage model of George L. Brody. The statistical population of this research is the works of Kant and Thomas Scanlon regarding ethics. From the total of investigations and analysis and comparison of Kant's and Thomas Scanlon's ethical opinions, the results were obtained that Kant puts ethics as the goal and has promoted dutifulness in this field and presented reductionist ethics and religion in It lowers the moral limit. Scalnon's views are based on contractualism in ethics and bring the term of permissibility into the field of ethics. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی نظریه اخلاقی ایمانوئل کانت فیلسوف آلمانی و توماس اسکانلون فیلسوف معاصر صورت گرفته است. روش این تحقیق از نوع توصیفی و تحلیلی می باشد که با الگوی چهار مرحله ای جورج ال برودی مورد توصیف، تفسیر، هم جواری و مقایسه قرار گرفته است. جامعه آماری این پژوهش آثار کانت و توماس اسکانلون در خصوص اخلاق می باشد. از مجموع بررسی های انجام شده و تحلیل و مقایسه نظرات اخلاقی کانت و توماس اسکانلون نتایجی حاصل گردید که کانت اخلاق را به عنوان هدف قرار می دهد و وظیفه گرایی در این زمینه را ترویج داده است و اخلاق تقلیل گرایانه ارائه داده است و دین را در حد اخلاق تنزل می دهد. نظرات اسکالنون مبتنی بر قراردادگرایی در اخلاق است و اصطلاح مجاز بودن را وارد حوزه اخلاق می کند. /downloadfilepdf/903806
